It was 5 Megs; but, it does have just a few graphics and tables. Joined Jan 4, Messages 1. M, isn't that quite old? My M had only 8 Megs of memory if I remember right. It certainly would not handle PDFs.
Joined Dec 4, Messages If you are buying new, you want the E2. Either way, you can pick up a MB SD card for a few dollars and use that as storage. The m has no backlight and will work well in direct sunlight and will not work well in dimly lit areas. Well, it does have a backlight and you can read with it in the dark. For example, I used to read on my m while walking home at night. When I passed directly under a streetlight with the backlight on, I would not be able to read.
The E2 has a backlight. Works well in dark, dim, or indoor lighting. Will not work in sunlight. The m has a better battery, is slimmer and I think lighter. If you got more questions, send me a PM.
If this forum supported them. Send me an email. Will turn emails on. EDIT: Oh, look! They do have PMs. I had an m and later got an m The only difference I could see between the two was the had a more brightly lit screen.
I have about 3 main formats that I use. My main format is. So how about you guys set me straight and tell me the best what the best PDA is for my problem.

As an ebook reader — it's one of the best ebook reader apps , in our opinion —KyBook 3 takes a generalist approach, supporting a variety of formats. KyBook throws in a ton of features such as cloud storage support, text to speech, search, bookmarks, and notes, but the app does suffer compared to other readers due to its more generalist approach.
PDF pages don't quite load as smoothly as a more focused PDF reader, but KyBook does do the job well enough, with customizable page turn modes, support for landscape and two-page facing modes, and a magnifying loupe.
The best PDF reader apps for Android and iPhone don't just let you open files on your smartphone though they excel at that. John Corpuz. Topics Apps. I only use Project Gutenberg's site so it just needs to have the ability to handle plain text files but html or plucker formats would be nice.
No need for PDF or any other ebook format. Can any old pda do this? Can a several year old used ebay palm do this? I My computer is Windows Xp if that makes a difference.
Any suggestions on what pda I should get? Or at least what I should look for or stay away from? I'm so lost Thanks. Joined Jul 7, Messages 7, I would think the items you will probably want to look at is 1 battery life, 2 Screen viewability if you don't care about alot of glare outside then you may not worry about this one , 3 Viewable screen size, 4 Overall size might not want it to take up too much space in yourpurse. Don't be suprised if when you get this device you find out you want it to do more I keep finding stuff I wish my PDA will do and this is my 4th one each one being more upgraded than the last.
Thank you for responding! Your list is very helpful, but I have another question: how much memory do you think I need minimum? Also, which is in your opinion the better trade off: a monochrome screen with tons of battery life or a color one with only a few hours?
