After removal there is an option to make bootable image ready for burning on cd or testing in virtual machines. You can nLite many different Windows operating systems , XP, and , all of which you can do x86 and x64 versions.

Just look around, you will be able to find them. You can also use a Windows CD. Just copy the full content from a distribution CD to a directory on your HDD and when it asks for your install source, go to that directory.
Keep in mind when setting up your directories, that you can only use the source files once. You can not nLite the same source files several times. Select your session and click load to import the settings. If you are not using one or this is your first time just click next. I just got an Nlite setup with SP3 using Nlite 1. I have tried many different options and nothing seems to work. My issue is this. When I run my Windows setup it will let me format the drive, then it copies files needed for setup.
After it's done there the system will do the first restart. Upon boot up from the first restart it will loop and keep rebooting. A message will say "setup is being restarted". Then it will boot again and again and sometimes a small error box pops up, but it's gone before I can read it. This one works just fine. Of course I want Nlite to further customize my install and add programs. On my VMs these setups always worked fine.
I really don't think it's VMware. I finally figured this out in case anyone is trying this and having issues similar.
